Ok RED,
You done prompted this one. I really don't care what "you think" or anyone else for that matter. I just want to get a few points out.
I can tell you. I smoked "pot" daily for like 6 years in my youth (late teens early adult). Heavy! I had the "best stuff too". After that I switched to "alcohol". That I have done "daily for over 20 years". I basically switched because the "pot" began giving me breathing problems.
The "Health" things I notice, I'll tell honestly. I just want you to know "this is an honest blog".
Memory wise. There are times I forget the "simplest" of things. I'll forget if I told someone something or what not. Even if I did it several minutes ago. I NEVER forget anything "important". I think it has something to do with "my short term memory" is "shot". But really the only thing it avoids is things that "aren't" super important to me. For example... if I was talking to "Roxann" about going to a "concert", I may forget in a second I even talked about it. It's "Not important, I do that all the time". If it happened to be something about "Sebastian", it won't get lost. It has something to do with "priority" and the "short term memory.
My "Long term" memory (if anything) gets stronger all the time. I think that has more to do with "I read constantly" then anything else. Did you know I "program" fluent (still) in about 10 computer languages? I can still "out quote" scripture as well as any pastor I ever met. If you ever "question" these things.. test me. My general "reasoning" is actually very good too. Way above average actually. By this I mean, If I go into "any situation", I pretty much figure it out "quick". I look at the problem, sort it out. And most always people trust me. Most always I am right. Really, I find "no" reason to believe "all the partying I did", did anything to "hurt" my long term memory, or strengths in that area. If anything, I keep becoming "stronger" in those areas. Just by learning more. I am "confident" enough that I feel I can talk "intelligent" to anyone, on any subject they want.
Health may be a "different" situation. I am "42". I am mostly "grey headed now". I've been "hospitalized" for more motorcycle accidents and car wrecks then I can count now. I've actually broke more bones then I could remember too. Aches and pains I have all over. I don't take "pills". I probably only took "1" Aspirin in my entire life. It's probably mostly a "psychological" thing. Probably good too tho. I've over "taxed" my liver for decades.. Nothing else is "in me" fucking it up besides booze.
I've "Always" been active. I ride a "bicycle" over 3 miles a day. I have "forever really". When I do shows, I am cutting "constant". I am lifting things, doing things. Besides my "morning cough.. which I just got back because I began smoking again" everyone tells me how great of shape I am in for my age.
There was "3" 15-18 year olds here the other day. They got talking about "wrestling". I said "I'll take all you flucckers out" all at once even. They took me up on it, and I did. They ALL outweighed me too. So I can't be too bad off. I took them out.
I "NEVER" feel good if I don't have a few beers in me. I mean like "NEVER". I am an "artist". I promise, if I had a "6 pack" my work is 100% better then if I had none. If I had a "12 pack" my work does go down. This is the reason I like a "constant mild buzz". I have no problem keeping it at that level, because I get more "free drinks" then even the hottest chicks at the bar. People just see me working, and bring them to me. They just happen at a "rate" that it works for me.
Over the years, I've watched my "health" go down. After all I did in life, I'm quite surprised to actually be alive.
I don't claim to be "perfect" here "Red". All I do is explain my life.
Take care,
Gary
