A Journey Into My Life

The Garden Nazi ...

First, it was the "soup nazi" (from Seinfeld), then my neighbor became the "yard nazi", now there's another one... "The GARDEN NAZI"!!

Normally, Roxann and I get along pretty good. It has now became "obvious", we can't get along in "gardening". She is the "Garden Nazi"!!

It's obvious to me, rows should be "straight". We got this "HUGE" garden to plant, and we were working on it today.

I tried to "constructively" critize her about her planting. I am thinking, this thing is so big. If your rows aren't straight now, look what will happen towards the end. I really pissed her off. I was just trying to help. I am like.. come on babe, lets just measure it out, and it will be GREAT!

She called me a "perfectionist", and said I'd never be happy. She just took it personal. It wasn't.. I was trying to say.. "It could be better, if we just worked together and had it measured out.

Yes, I am a "perfectionalist". Especially in my work and such. But I wasn't trying to make the Garden "Perfect". Just not all crooked and such. She was like, "Gary, it really won't matter". The plants will fill it in. I was like, "yes they will.. but coincutting taught me one thing". When you are off a little "when there are many equal things to do", you will be WAY off at the end. It's like this. If I cut a "Tree" at work, it doesn't matter. Branches can go anywhere. Hard to make a mistake. But if I do something like a "Jewish Star of David". If I am off even a few "millimeters" at first, it will offset everything. Because you follow what you did first. That star needs to be "equal" everywhere. If not, it won't look right. With the garden, we have MANY rows to plant. So I didn't want it "perfect", just now all "way off". We argued about this quite a bit.. lol.

Anyway, it's being planted. We still have TONS to plant. Hopefully we can work "together better" on the rest of the thing.. lol.
-------------------------------------

Tomorrow, I will be getting ready for the show with the "tatoo artist". That's on Friday. I will be packing, getting ready.. so I may not be on much. I'll let you know how that went.

Take care, Gary
