We were trying to get into the "Romeo Peach" fest. They have 3 show locations. All are good locations. This is another one of the best in Michigan.
So I tried my best. It was booked "solid" Usually I can work my way into these things. I couldn't.
Paul actually went there. He couldn't get a spot either. Now here is why I like the guy. He went to the "BP" gas station owner. Talked to him. The gas station is right on the main street. By the parade, by the events. Well we got us in.. lol. This will be the first "gas station" I ever done.. lol. The cool thing is, we will have a better location then anyone. How many people buy gas? "EVERYONE". Plus central to the events. I am all packed up, ready to go in the morning (7am). I expect to do quite well!

So for next year, I have been emailing this "race track owner". We did that event, it sucked. They have an awesome race track.. but tried their hands at putting a "show" on before the races. One of the worst setup I ever seen. Everyone left early. Paul and I got to talking, and they let us move "inside" the track area for the races. We did AWESOME, and I was turning customers away at the end.
Anyway, I been talking to the owner lady. She is wanting to have shows there. Here is where "I" come in. I meet rock bands, bikers, top artists, tatoo people, all the time. If I do a show, I usually already know (in person) all the talented ones anyway.
So I pretty much laid this on the line. I told her "what sucked" about the show. Told her how cool I felt the track was. Actually, it's like 20 minutes from home. I'd rather set up there then anywhere.
She sent me their plans for shows next year. I told her, with her connections. She could get "professional" fliers/show applications printed. I'd have NO problem, promoting her events at any show I do. Just do it early. Hey, I'll be a promoter for them. It's a huge IN for me!!
I'll leave it here now. Really I got alot more to say. But kids need me to help with some things.. so I gotta go.
