Not really in a writing mood. So I'll make this a short blog. I am kinda tired actually.
Just got back from the show today. It was a "Christian Biker event". It was a private invite, and they didn't charge us for the space. Plus we were able to make the "booth" as big as we wanted. We set it up pretty good really. The best we've done working together so far.
We both did decent actually. I wouldn't call it a top show or anything, but mostly it was pure profit. So I can't complain.
We were set up 10 feet away from the bands. I never heard of any of them, but I guess all are "popular" bands. There were about 6 bands, and all have "CD's" out in stores. We met them all.. but for the world of me I can't remember their names. I think that's because it's not my type of music. I should've got some autographs, but I didn't. Paul got some CD's (because it is his type of music). They all sounded good though. All very "professional".
It wasn't a huge show. There were about 70 Harleys, 20 classic cars. Some small stuff for the kids. I took off all my "pot leaves", and stuff that might seem offensive to the group. Everyone loved us being there. There were only 4 vendors anyway, but we had by far the largest booth with the most inventory. I pretty much had to cut coins the whole entire day. What sucked was it was "Super Hot out"! A few times.. I had to just stop and sit down. You know when your "so hot" that your head starts "throbbing"? Well mine did that on and off this entire day.
Last thing I can say about it.. the food was good. They had a large selection. Everything was 50 cents each.. lol. You don't see that often.
So now I am home. With all the rain we got, I wanted to look at the garden. The Zucchini and Squash had doubled in size since I left. So I picked a bunch, and cooked up. Looks kike I will be eating "ALOT" of vegetables for awhile.. lol.
Ok, take care all. Just not in a real writing mood.
Gary :)
