I think it is a good idea, and I believe it would work if there is a consensus on which time is the best for most users. I would guess that a later time would be better as 8 Eastern is only 5 PM on the West Coast.

I suppose if you can figure out the best time for several users, I can find a timer of some sort, and place it on the main pages of the site.

The above post is what "Eddie" (The owner wrote to me). I have got messages by quite a few. Many said they will try to make it, but also many said they can't due to their schedule. Most however showed an interest in this. The main problem is, "Time zones". None of us really live close to eachother, and we all have different schedules. We understood this right from the start.
