I got up this morning, and decided to check my "email", my "facebook", and my "MyBloggers". I never know what to expect really. Seems like overall, I run about 70/30 on my positive and negative remarks.
Well today, I had a ton of "negative" comments on a simple little post I left on a "You Tube" video. The video was an interview from "Ted Bundy" and his "moronic" explation of why he "killed and raped" all those women. Without relating all he said, the jist of his words seemed to be "PORN MADE ME DO IT".
Listen, I don't buy that for one single second. There is a whole ton of people who casually look at porn, and don't go out killing or raping anyone. So I responded kinda like this.
"I'm 42. It's idiotic to think porn made this man kill those people. I look at porn, and I haven't killed anyone yet. Heck I even like kinky sex". There is something way deeper going on in someone's head that resorts to that (More to what I wrote, but that was about it).
My email was "flooded" with responses. Basically, (again) without saying all that was said. The "jist" was.. I need to repent. Porn is sin. People who look at porn are all going to burn in hell. Stuff of that nature.
So I will explain my thoughts on it. To me, there is nothing wrong with "Porn" in and of itself. The Bible does state "To look on a woman in lust, is committing adultery in your heart. Yes, true. But that is "pursuant lust". There is a huge difference. A man man may look at a woman. He may even have a sexual thought. That doesn't mean he is "pursuant" of her. It doesn't mean he will leave his wife to be with her. It doesn't mean he will rape her, or anything like that. What it means,, is we are humans. We have human nature. Every man or woman alive has found someone else "attractive" that is not their spouse. God put "sexual" attraction in our hearts and minds. He just wants us to be "logical" with it.
Now if your married, and got a few ladies on the side. It's logical to think that will "hurt" your spouse. If you like to play some "tied up" games with your mate, there is nothing to say you can't. If you are in a committed relationship.. whatever you two decide is up to you. You won't find any passages in the Bible on "How" a couple are to express themselves sexually. God (in my opinion) left that up to ourselves to decide. What he did however do was go to great lenghts, to show how sex can be bad too. Having children with someone for sex, and not caring for the child. Raping someone. Using someone sexually for personal or financial gain. These are the things the Bible warned about. Mostly for our own good, because all lead to trouble. We all know in our hearts they do.
I, like anyone else don't want to see women raped. I know some women are in the sex trade for bad reasons. Forced, or they needed drug money, Prostitution or whatever. There is alot of that out there, and yes that's all bad. That doesn't mean looking at a naked woman in "Playboy" or something is necessarily bad. That's a natural human reaction to be attracted to the "opposite" sex. I don't see it any different then watching models "male or female" on television. It's the same thing. People with the natural desire to check out attractive people. Think about this. When you met your "spouse", before you had sex.. was sex ever on your mind? Of course it was! If it wasn't... and you didn't have a strong attraction you wouldn't have got married. Every single one of us has been attracted to many others during the course of our lives. Who you commit to and what you do after is what makes the difference.
What gets me, is how some of these "Religious" nuts go on and on judging others. Yelling "You'll burn in hell", repent.. when really most haven't spent much time in the Bible (They say what they heard). I told above what I believe, and why I believe it. You won't find any passages in the Bible that can prove what I said wrong. You will find many passages in the Bible, that you can take and twist to make it seem the way you want. The truth is, what a couple does... so long as not phsyically hurting another.. is up to them.
The other day, I was checking out some nude pics of "Jamie Presley". That blonde on "My name is Earl". I wanted to see what she had under the "hood" so to speak. lol.. met with my approval. Doesn't strike me she was forced to do that, and I know it won't make me cheat, rape, or do anything bad to her or Roxann. I know Roxann digs several of those country stars. I know she loves seeing them topless.. lol.
I just think, some of these people need to get a life.
Later all, thats my take on this subject.
