Check this link out. There is a "bad" virus coming "April 1st" (the date is hard coded). The name is "Conficker C". Microsoft has even offered a "quarter million" bounty on the writer. This one is "expected to be bad".

If you read the article. I'll tell you what I'd do. You can do the "online scan" that Microsoft suggests you do (from them), but I wouldn't bother with that.

Several reasons really, one Microsoft will just want you to pay some "subscription" for their protection. Other anti-virus programs like "Avast" (do a search), which is free will have the information to rid it as soon as anyone else gets it. Right now, all are scrambling for a solution.

I would update your "Windows". and make sure your anti-virus soft is on. It's supposed to be worse then that last one, that took out my computer "Win32:Vitro". lets just hope they have it solved before "April 1st"..

Other news, I've been sick as a dog lately. It's these damn "cramps" I get every month or so. They last like 3-5 days, but are incredibly bad. Heck, I've had to run to the bathroom about 6 times an hour since they started. Even walking to the kitchen puts me in terrible pain. I have "diverticulosis", may be that (or something more). My taxes are being done right now, and my personal income was low last year. This county has some special programs, that may allow me to get some medical insurance. If I can get something, I will get this checked. if not... oh well.. I'll just grin and bear it.

Not much else to say today. I would write, but even sitting at the computer right now "hurts" alot. So If I don't write a few days, just cause I'm not feeling good.
