Almost finished with my shopping. The traffic was awful but the lines weren't bad. Maybe it was because I wasn't in a hurry, and attempted to roll with the flow.

The husband has a wonderful menu planned for Christmas. Duck and Prime rib, butter squash and other yummy gourmet dishes. Looks like that might change. I came home to find him in bed with "food poisoning" from a bowl of shrimp bisque he had today for lunch. Looks like I will be cooking. Turkey and dressing... a down home country meal.

My step sister made it in from North Carolina. While I was holding the face cloth on my husband as he was puking, she calls to tell me my mom fell on concrete and hurt her elbow. They came by the house, she has full range of motion, but is going to have one heck of a bruise. Thank the Lord she didn't break a hip or hit her head.

Horses were in the barn all day,and I didn't make it out there until 10:00 pm tonight. Miz had her ears back, and was not happy with me at all, but they have fresh shavings and lots of hay to keep them warm and full thru the night.

Lynell was here this past weekend, left yesterday on the train, headed back to New Orleans~ as always, we had a great visit.

Finally got to chat with Grumpy online last night in the MyBloggersville chat room. He's really a good egg that Grumpy, but don't tell him I said so.
