It's Spring!

Yay! It is spring here today. I am wearing shorts and a tee shirt. The windows are open. I have anemones blooming and the scilla leaves are up just today. The maple trees have flowers, two weeks early according to the tree people. It is 81 degrees right now at 4:30 p.m. That is 40 degrees above the average for March. Warmer than Los Angeles. I am loving it. I know we will probably have snow at least one more time-we always have a little snow in April- but for today, Yay! Are you having an early spring, too?

I love the rut I'm in--no shoveling snow or scrapping ice off the windshield--no slipping, sliding--no heavy clothes--no steam heat---just sun, clouds, sky, breezes and flip-flops!

Didn't I read that the cherry blossoms in Washington are blooming now, way ahead of time? We are expecting mosquitoes any day now.

Spring? What's Spring??? We have Winter when it gets below 70 degrees, summer when it gets above 80 degrees, snowbird season when roads are bumper to bumper and then Heaven all year round!

I can remember 4 days I wouldn't wear my shorts, short sleeve shirt and flip-flops--that's why I love here!
