Tornadoes

My thoughts are with the people who were hit by the tornadoes this week. My neighbor's mother and sister live in Harrisburg, IL. Their house was one block away from the devastation and was not hit. A tornado hit a trailer park across the street from my apartment many years ago and we were fine. Who knows why this happens? I would still rather live here than somewhere with hurricanes, forest fires, mudslides and earthquakes.

Answer to your query on my post: Target didn't have the ink cartridge I needed (nor Wal-mart). I considered "upgrading" my stereo purchase, but I have a small radio that does all that. I just need something to play my records on.

It is horrible being at the mercy of Mother Nature when she is on a tear. I
was hoping we would have a shelter by this time.

It seems early for tornados, but I don't know much about their usual season. My cousin in Carbondale also has relatives by marriage in Harrisburg.

It is early but this whole season has been odd. Carbondale is just down the road from Harrisburg, maybe 30 miles.
