I hope you're still on the quit wagon and didnt fall off!! Good luck, best decision in the world!!!
now that it's after midnight where you are, I can say:
HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARTIN!!!!!!
From an outsider looking in, and having been interested in American politics since Pres Obama made his bid for the White House I have always found the Republican Party to be the epitome of the term oxymoron. They seem to contradict all their ideals in so many ways. They are against abortions but pro death penalty, how oxymoronic is that? They (most of them anyway) claim to be God-fearing, loving Christians and yet they do not support social justice which takes care of the poor and the needy, but would give huge tax breaks or tax incentives to the wealthy. Why anyone would want the Republicans to run the country is really beyond me. And the candidates vying for the presidency????.....dont get me started....
He does look like he knows just about everything there is to know in this world...maybe he does...lol. What a handsome chap!!! (the cat, not Martin...lol.)
I will check out the photos on blogster if you posted the article over there.
Amazing what a conundrum 9 cents can cause. I'm sure the banks have people employed to sit in some dark office somewhere to come up with more and more ways to hit your bank account for more fees and charges and what to do with any "excess" payments made in error. I cant see the pics (just little boxes with a red x inside as usual) so I might have to dash across to blogster with my free proxy server to check them out.
I had to post another blog in response to yours, there's to much to put as a comment here. You probably wont like my views on this subject but I wanted to address those "flaws" as you put it with my own take/opinion because I am so sick and tired of hearing those on the right confuse and mislead people with their talking points rhetoric that are less than credible or blown out of context. It is not personal and I hope it doesnt offend you.
@troutbend....everyone paying their fair share is portrayed by Republicans are "sharing the wealth" to scare people into thinking this is turning the US into a socialist country. Another big bunch of bs which is getting very tiresome as well.
The 40% plus who dont pay any taxes is a typical Republican rhetoric which is a complete fallacy. They may not pay Federal taxes but they surely pay heaps on all their state and local taxes so this fallacy needs to be put to rest. The producers on the other hand have been given the Bush Tax cuts for how many years now? And what has it achieved? It is time to let the millionaires and billionaires contribute just a little bit more so that the whole economy can recover. Why is that so difficult for anyone to see? The millionaires and billionaires themselves are saying they dont mind paying more. So all the republican rhetoric they keep spouting in their tiresome bid to obstruct anything this administration tries to do to help the middle class is nothing but bs.
Disgusting!!!
I would love a bagel right now, stacked high with smoked salmon, Philadelphia cream cheese and capers....yuuuuuummmmm!!!
Glenn Beck is just one giant major blob of a stain to the whole of humanity..PERIOD!!!!!!
You are 12 hours behind so it's just perfectly on time. Thank you very much Martin, it was so sweet of you to remember.
Apples and Oranges Jondude....apples and oranges....hee hee hee. Good post by the way.
Yup, my sentiments exactly. Elitism destroys societies and causes such incredible rifts within a nation that should be pulling together to help each other get out of the worst economic crisis since the great depression. Elitism caused the second world war when Germany decided that only the Arian race can rule the world. Herman Cain's popularity from my perspective has a hidden agenda. The Republicans and those who created the tea party movement for the sole purpose of ousting the black man from the white house are using Mr Cain to negate the perception of their "agenda". It is pretentious and a joke. He will never win the nomination to become their candidate, it is not in the Republican Party's genetic make-up and it is a huge fascade.
