I was just thinking about this case a few days ago and low and behold, I turn on my computer today and there is Chandra Levy's picture on my home page. I couldn't believe it. I guess at long last this really sad case may be solved.

The reason I was thinking about her was because I had been thinking about Gary Condit. I never thought that he had killed her, but the case sure ended his career. He was one of our local Modesto area boys who had done good and he messed it all up with having affairs with not only Miss Levy, but numerous other women. I remember he would come to our church and make an appearance about once a year. Everyone I knew voted for him because we thought he was a "good guy." Sometimes, we don't know from the book's cover just how bad the book really is. Gary Condit was a jerk when it came to being a good husband and family man.

I'm definitely happy for the Levy family that this case may be solved!!!!

WASHINGTON - An arrest may be close in the slaying of the former federal intern whose disappearance ended Gary Condit's congressional career, according to media reports in Washington and California.

NBC affiliate WRC in Washington and KGO, KFSN and KCRA in California said D.C. police are seeking an arrest warrant in Chandra Levy's death.

The warrant would be for an inmate convicted of attacking two female joggers in the same Washington park where Levy's remains were found in 2002.
