Other sports have a practice season before going in to the real season. Sooooo.... I started out fishing season with two days of practice fishing this weekend. I hadn't really planned it that way, but since I didn't even get one bite or catch any fish, I will just have to call it a practice run.
On Saturday, we fished at Gerber Resevoir for crappie and perch. No one was catching anything.
On Sunday, we fished at Lofton Resevoir for trout. Everyone was catching really nice big trout except us. We didn't get a bite.
Oh well... the upside is that we didn't have to clean any fish, either.
