Largest Cave

Discovered in 2009 in a remote central part
of Vietnam is Hang Son Doong, or “mountain river cave.”  There’s a
jungle inside Vietnam’s mammoth cavern.  A skyscraper could fit too.
The cave is part of a network of 150 or so caves, many still not
surveyed, in the Annamite Mountains.

Spooky. I don't care for caves or mines.

Oh I do, mines not so much. Love to explore a cave, this one for sure.

I just finished a book about a man who returned to Vietnam. In it he talks about the caves and the underground tunnels where the Viet Cong hid during the Vietnam War.

Yes, I didn't know that about the War. I read something about that too. Thanks for the visit.

I love the picture with the tiny ant people in it. When I look at the map, Vietnam looks so small compared to other countries, it's hard to imagine there being anything so big under its ground.

It's amazing what is below us. So many underground places.
