Over the past 10 years I have gotten 3 sets of glasses; one being after the cataract surgery and another pair when I thought I had lost the first pair only to find them 2 weeks later. I should be set with glasses for the next 10 years at least!


The problem I have when getting glasses is choosing the frames because I really don't care how they look on me so I usually let the guy offering the choices pick the ones he would want. In the last decade the only difference I could see in 'style' was that they got a bit larger each time but I also noticed one pair was grey, another brown and the latest black. What color do you wear with blue masks?!!? I do have one black mask so that isn't a problem. Well, you are the one who will be looking at my face so make a decision!!! :O)


I don't understand the logic but every May they cut back the regular trees and in October the palm trees. Yes, they are cutting them back because of hurricane 'season' which runs from May to November and branches can break off and smash into windows but why different times for different trees?


Also, with all the modern technology, why does the poor guy, in the bottom left picture, have to lug all the very heavy fronds to the truck?!?
