Iran slamming
Let's see, we think Iran has weapons of mass destruction, or at least that they're developing them. We think that Iran shouldn't do that. If the free and sovereign nation of Iran chooses to decide for itself instead of doing what we say, we're not ruling out a preemptive strike.
Turn it around. Imagine that the US is doing something someone else in the world considers inadvisable (that could never happen, of course). Imagine that we are told we really shouldn't do that, and that if we do, there will be consequences. Imagine the rhetoric on MSNBC.
If Iran just having nuclear weapons constitutes a threat of Iran using them on us, we need to consider why, and what to do about that, because I don't see any practical way of keeping the nukes out of Iran.
