It's too bad you had to run into one of those kinds, hope they are far between.
MyBloggers barely works as it is, we'd never press our luck by asking for a mobile app.
Sounds like fun to resurrect those old knitting projects.
I know that feeling - everything is irritating, and a lot of the time it's Mr. Troutbend - give him some celery, biscotti, or other crunchy food, and it sounds like he's chewing on rocks. So I'm sitting there kicking myself for feeding it to him in the first place.
Nasturtiums in the shade? I was just bemoaning some weeds growing under a spruce tree and trying to figure out what would grow there because we don't want to put a bunch of mulch because of fire danger, and Roundup might not be good for the tree. And mint in the pots that you take in and out with the seasons - great idea.
I'll be out watering my vegetables and it comes to mind how much I regret not getting into gardening sooner. I think of all those wasted years, and how few years I have left, because every season we learn something to do differently next year.
That's so exciting about the new member to your family. September is really SOON, but easy for me to say - you're the one who has to make it through the hot summer months. Skylar probably doesn't know what 'little brother' means until she sees him. Around here people put out bat houses to encourage them because they eat mosquitoes and other bugs, and maybe they won't get into where we don't want them if they have a home of their own.
So glad you're home safely, and that you had nice time. Back in 1970 my folks and I drove through Arkansas, and we thought the same as you - it made us think of what we liked about old-time Colorado, and how if we didn't have our ties back home, it'd be such a nice place to live.
Oh THAT movie. I've seen ads for it on TV, but have found whatever those glimpses are, the movie itself is completely different, which is usually a good thing.
I'm so sorry.
I have never made a shawl, and avoid lace type patterns like the plague. I've never even looked at one of these patterns until this one, and it doesn't look so hard, so I will give it a try. Thanks!
It's just enough information, and fascinating. The guy in AA wanted you to slug back your drink?
