Knitted Things from England

A distant cousin from England knits a lot. She has run out of people to make sweaters for, so she makes a lot of toys.

Here is a set of photos she sent me of the Thomas the Tank Engine set she made.

When I was going to visit her, I pictured a room full of yarn, or 'wool' as she calls it, but her inventory is just a big bag of yarn in the corner of the bedroom. I am always impressed with the attention to detail in her projects; she never seems to get tired and leave something off like I might have done.

What a talented friend. I suppose this effort is labor intensive and there wouldn't be a profit in selling? Her work looks very professional. I think there is a market there if she can charge enough to justify her efforts.
