Good Luck

Mr. Troutbend was in a bowling tournament over the weekend in Laughlin, Nevada. Located on the Colorado River as it heads for the Gulf of Mexico, Laughlin is a wide place in the road where some casinos are lined up on the Nevada side, and the town of Bullhead, Arizona is on the other side of the river, connected by a bridge.

One of the bowlers in the tournament was named 'Bonaventure Butts' - that's what it said on his bowling shirt and the roster. I was trying to figure out what his nickname would be, and then considered maybe that IS his nickname. And I wondered if he has any relatives named Seymour, but of course I wouldn't ask him because he probably hears that all the time.

He could have had Lucky for a nickname because good luck is the literal translation of bonaventure. I know you all knew that, but I didn't want to leave anyone scratching their heads out there.

Sorry Gary didn't win and of course I will admit that I didn't know what the literal translation of bonaventure was

In high school, our star basketball player was named Bernie Butts. We had a banner in the stands that read "You Can't Beat Our Butts."

How did Mr. T do in the tournament? Why is Mr. Forkel's name in red. Does that mean he won it?
