I promise you, this is funny.
Keep watching after they clap.
The latest fee is Southwest charging $40 to be among the first 15 people to board the plane. They still have the $10 to $15 fee to get into Boarding Group A that gets on next (and a hope of getting to sit with someone you know).
Here's some others, in case we forgot:
American Airlines: $8 for blankets
Ryan Air: 40 pound fee to print out your boarding pass, fee to sit in the exit row (they probably all charge this in one form or another)
Allegiant: $35 carry on fee; credit card booking fee; online booking fee. (Their ticket counters only sell tickets for 45 minutes a week.)
Spirit: $16.99 Online Booking Fee aka Passenger Usage Fee (each way); Carry on fees up to $100
United: $100 for second checked bag on trans Atlantic flights
All airlines: fee for choosing window or aisle seats
But after seeing this video, I don't mind so much any more.
