The fill dirt on that steep slope has slumped since it was put there in December, so we filled in the cracks. I always get to drive the skidsteer.
Many of our hummingbirds have left for the winter. It has been a tough month because of the bears: we have to get up at 5:30 am to put the feeders out and take them in at night.
I take pictures of the river every week or so in order to capture the subtle seasonal changes. And this is the first August since the flood, so we're starting over the seasons.
