This is my side stream, a place where there is no stream channel at all - the stream is about 2 inches deep, and if there was no water, the banks would be 2 inches deep. When the snow melts this spring, or we get rain storms, there will be nothing to contain the water.
There is a giant 30 foot wide by 12 foot tall debris pile on the other side of those trees. This picture was taken to illustrate the rough terrain that makes it impossible to remove that debris coming from our land - large equipment needs to come across the river on the other side of that debris pile and take it out that way. We get a lot of offers of volunteers to clear debris, but in this case they would not be able to do it. I'm trying to talk the county into bringing equipment to clean this up because it borders on their public park.
