At night I stand guard at the sliding door while they are sleeping and during the day I sit where I can watch both the front and back of the house.
I get bored during the night when nobody will talk to me or brush me, so I molest the toilet paper. This is the only time I ever got caught in the act.
If they are home during the day I can take a break and catch a nap so I can stay awake on guard duty at night.
Yesterday I was on post with the sliding door cracked open a bit, and Big Orange from the neighborhood came by to see if there were any low-flying hummingbirds in my yard. I was out that door so fast! He'd think again about coming back if I had caught him.
I like empty boxes and the sun coming in the window.
I like to help read the newspaper.
I like Cheerios, not so much orange juice. This is an old photo when it was snowy outside. I am being ignored here.
I helped put this jigsaw puzzle together. This is the table they got so I would have my own table to sit on and look out, but I like theirs better.
This is my favorite friend who lives here. I just barely tolerate that other person who talks all the time and takes pictures of me, but sometimes she feeds me. I adore this man and he carries me around and brushes me and lets me reach up and touch his beard with my right paw so I know he is noticing me. If he is not around, I have to be nice to her.
Soon we will get in the car and stay there for hours and hours and hours and hours. I am very bored during that time because I can't fall asleep when that car is moving like that. When we get out I will have a different cat box and new sights out the house windows. Sometimes I get to help the driver because the front seat is for the cool guys. I am a good traveler, and prefer Wyoming's Interstates to the ones through the high mountains of Colorado.
