Bears

While I was in England the bears broke into the garage to get at trash locked in there by the renters next door when they left for home.

This is how they left it - the wood was split into small pieces, as if the bears had an axe.

They knocked things over inside.

One of my favorite things in England was the church with paintings from the 1400s in Pickering.

That door looks like the one in The Shining that Jack Nicholson stuck his head through after chopping with an axe. They must have really good trash. (and scary bears)

Around here they usually stop at the bird feeders although some porches and screen doors have been invaded.

They are causing problems in North Florida so with the wisdom of our Governor they are having a 'legal' bear hunt at the end of this month! ARGH!!
