Still a work in progress, but quite a bit has been done, and we are at the passive restoration phase where time and nature need to step in and help.

I don't think these trees are going to make it because I haven't figured out how to get enough dirt to stay around their roots.

Lots of work has been done. Did you add flagstone to the building in the first photo. Is that the brown palace? I'm glad you are recovering.

Yes, it's the Brown Palace (behind that tree). No, haven't added flagstone - I'm still trying to shovel down the sand and rocks. Shovel, shovel, shovel. The electrician is coming next Friday.

I'll see if we can line up some fairly large rocks on top of that concrete to make a barrier to hold dirt, and then dribble it in there very carefully. Not something I could do alone, but guess who is driving here from Las Vegas tomorrow.
