Hello from the Fox

The fox was here yesterday and today. I will have some new pictures to post soon.

It has been lovely warm weather, and my vegetable starts planted inside are chomping at the bit to get out into the sunshine. It's too soon, of course, our last frost date is the end of May. But I decided to plant the nasturtiums in their final destination hanging planter and bring it in overnight.

This is a beautiful hanging plant Mr. Troutbend bought for his mama last year. The people at the garden center who put these together are geniuses with color.

That's a beautiful arrangement. We have two urns on our front lawn, flanking the driveway. Everything we put there dies. Of course, we also do not take good care of them. Regards from black thumb here.

We have to have all our flowers in hanging pots because the ground squirrels will eat them.

It cost $26, but even he thought it was worth it.

Those people at that garden center put those things together when the plants have barely come up, they must have really good imaginations to know what will come out looking so good.

Ooooo.....Pretty! I love nasturtiums but they don't like our summer heat.

I've got a big pot of them in the works for this year. Hope they do well. They are supposed to be edible, but I've never tried.
