We used to go on a lot of road trips looking for used book stores in the midwest. I'm sorry our life has changed so we don't have the opportunity to drive to new places, but we remember a lot of the little towns visited, and when we see one mentioned on a television show, it brings fond memories.

I remember one late summer trip many years ago that took in South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska. We spent one night in Knoxville, Iowa - Sprint Car Capital of the World, or maybe they call themselves the Dirt Track Capital of the World.

This is a sprint car. They have those wings.
