It seems early to be talking about spring, but here we are.
We haven't had enough snow this season, but today we're getting some snow. It's more of a spring storm than winter - wet snow, temperature hovering around 32 degrees. The Warm Before The Storm leading up to it was 5 days of 50 degree daily highs. Because the ground is warm, the snow is not accumulating like it would in colder times. This is good because more of it is soaking into the ground.
I keep in touch with Fredo's Mike up in New Hampshire, and he describes this year's weather as very strange - they're getting a lot of rain on snow.
This is a Walmart parking up in the Epsom NH area, a few days after a 6 inch snow storm. Usually, it would still be snow packed.
