This is a beautiful hanging planter Mr. Kitchentales bought at a locally-owned nursery for his mother on Mother's Day. They were expensive compared to Walmart and Home Depot, but 100 times prettier than anything those chains had to offer.

The photo doesn't do it justice, but you can see the beautiful colors and how full it is.

I don't know what the secret is to getting this opulent fullness by mid-May. Naturally greenhouses are involved, and a really green thumb.

No doubt! My petunias are doing well this year but we have to keep them inside chicken wire because the ground squirrels eat all the flowers.
