It's a poorly-composed picture, and I know they had better ones, but it'll do - there's no doubt it's a moose. There was a second moose, but they didn't get a picture of it.
Here's one that visited us last summer around this time.
They are huge animals and move with dignity. If we go out there, they will leave right away, so we try not to let them know we're watching.
