And a forest fire.

Good photographing there to get the bighorn to pose in front of the fire.

This is along Trail Ridge Road.

The recent 2 inches of snow and colder weather are helping slow this fire down, but it's still burning.

Here we are just entering the fire seaon warnings have been given to keep inflamable material well clear of your house. with the wet winter we have had theres plenty of dry stuff around --that was a good photo

Vegetation has such a short memory - some good rain and it grows like crazy, and then the weather dries up for only a couple of days, and it's a tinderbox out there. Our fire season should have ended in August, but it's still with us due to the drought. Good luck with yours there.

That four inches of snow last week didn't put it out, so now they are really in trouble if the winds come up.
