The school Holiday's are on us again, I am so glad because I have more time to get things done.
I managed to call my dad and wish him a happy birthday, and the kids spoke to him as well. That means more to him than any gift or card. I hope to catch him tomorrow when I call up to pay "J" for his carpentry services, although dad did say he was hoping to travel West tomorrow. We'll try anyway.

My kitchen is fitted apart for the sink which we will be plumbing in this afternoon and one set of doors to a corner unit that we are waiting for the company to send out. If we had waited for the company to send out the missing parts we would still be without a kitchen. I am pleased with it,even if it's not quite what we ordered.I have so much more surface space. I'm off to buy wall tiles later on so we can decorate. Then the kitchen will be lovely. We still need to buy an under the counter fridge and freezer, but that will have to wait till June. Cash has nearly run out for this month. Father-in-law will be amazed by the difference when he calls round for drinks tonight.


I haven't done any painting in what seems like an age. I hope to get some done tonight.
