To start with I stayed in bed. I made the kids stay in bed too. Usually when I have a lay in the kids are upstairs creating havoc around me. This morning I made them stay in bed without TV or toy's. As I had Alexander in with me I didn't really get any sleep, but I did rest.

When we got up I got on with the chores, AND I delegated a few jobs out, Even if it was only feeding the animals. The house wasn't too untidy.

I decided that we would eat breakfast together around the table. It was a really nice change. I could have done with marmalade instead of jam (jelly) though.

I am now waiting for the grocery's to arrive, which I will put away quickly and get on with this week's on line drawing event, which I WILL take part in.
PS my portraits are getting better. No, I never said they were perfect, that's why I'm still practicing. The portrait of my son that I hope to add is on display at home so that I can keep looking at it and see where I have made mistakes.
