This morning I bought a gallon Of Arizona Sweet Tea, and it was horrible. Under no circumstances should you buy this stuff. It tasted like tea I was served once at a mybloggers spoon , where the tea had been sitting out on a counter for three days and had a sharp, sour ready to ferment taste. (The dentist had said drink tea or other non carbonated beverages till the extraction healed-- that's why I bought this witch's brew.)
It's so easy to make a gallon of tea, I don't know why I bought it in the first place, except the container touted real Southern style brewed sweet tea,  so I thought why not. Yuck, phewy, gag. I'm gonna have to make a trek back to the store to get my money back, (snarl.)
Real Southern sweet tea is strong Lipton or Red Diamond brewed tea loaded with sugar and served over ice. I called the phone number on the label, and Arizona Tea Company had voice mail which cut me off at every option and didn't allow me, a consumer, to leave a message. Extremely poor customer relations. I hope this sorry company falls flat on their face.
It only after I got on the Internet that I discovered Arizona Tea Company is under attack by some black people for their labeling of the containers of Southern style sweet tea. The label shows an antebellum type setting which apparently offended some black folks who thought it had connotations of slavery. Well, go for it you disgruntled people and whack Arizona Tea Company.
