We've had a couple of spring rains and Bang! The grass greened up overnight and needs to be mowed already. After days of high 70's and 80 degree weather, I decided to take the quilts and electric blanket off the bed--every time I changed the sheets, I had put them back on not believing winter was really over, but Wednesday took them all off and stored them in the cedar robe. Bingo--Wednesday night the temperature dropped to 44 degrees.

It's like if you want it to get chilly, store the winter bedding, (or if you want it to rain, hang clothes out on the clothesline--a surefire way to bring rain.) This morning Valentina came and helped me put away all the winter clothes; the heavy sweaters and long sleeved blouses and sweatsuit material tops, clean and folded and packed away; then the electric heaters went back in the closet.

I even got out the sewing machine to sew up any loosened stitches etc. I haven't used the machine in so long it took a while to remember how to rethread a bobbin. What a bore.
But it's all done and I have the satisfaction of completion.

(I refuse to listen to or read about media heavy events right now, and sure don't give a toot about Tiger Woods, etc. For a few days I'm reveling in beautiful benevolent springtime. I have some morning glory seeds that should have been planted before the rain, but I'll get to that!)
