I am writing this exactly as it appeared in the Greene County Herald the county's weekly newspaper: In Loving Memory Of Toby B. Davis. Under this headline is a picture of a dog, a white poodle mix, his hair pulled up off his forehead, parted in the middle and clipped up in pigtails to keep the hair out of his eyes.
Next to the picture is this text: On October 16, 2008, the Lord needed a very special fuzzy gift. The most precious 16 1/2 year old we could give back.
Toby B. Davis is survived by heartbroken mom and dad; three feline brothers, Petey, Tigger and Boo Boo; his grandmother Jean G. Wash; aunts and uncles, Aunt Marcie and Uncle Franz, Terri and Bobby Goss, Rhonda and Joe Spring, Belinda Bently, Uncle David Reese, Aunt Tina Brown, Uncle Tony and Aunt Teresa Pierce, and his special Aunt Dee Duvall.
Special thanks to Dr. Sharon D'Ambra, the cards, flowers, and prayers were all so appreciated.
If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever. God bless and thank you, Mr. and Mrs. G.M. Davis
