People use a credit card all the time to pay for gas at the pump, or buy groceries. It's so easy to swipe that card at the pump, get your receipt and go. Same for groceries--AND I understand you can now swipe your credit card at--ready? At McDonalds.
Yes yes, I know I've heard everyone who does this say that they pay off the full amount at the end of the month. But I cringe at the thought of having charges on a credit card bill for gasoline that has already been burned and food that's already been eaten. You're paying for things gone gone gone. No, pay as you go for those things.
