Sometimes writing something out does help enormously. It's kind of hard to ignore her when she is so persistent. How about turning your phone off for certain hours -- when you're working -- and letting everyone know that's what you're doing. Then it's not just her. Maybe you could have a secret cell for your friends.

That's a wonderful way to find out what to give someone. You are right in that it's much more fun watching others open their presents. I always hold my breath to see if they like what I've given. Of course, they always pretend to like it ... a LOT! My gift wrap is tissue inside of a gift bag... so much easier!

That's a great way to look at it. We think we have a lot of trouble today, but when you compare it with the work that had to be done in other eras, we have it really easy! I'm thankful for all our conveniences.

These were funny! You know what I don't get about Sarah Palin? Many people think she should just go back to Alaska and disappear, but I hear two or 3 stories about her every day. Ariana Huffington said to ignore her and she talks about her every day, we;;. almost. I think she might be here to stay. I shudder because I really get irritated by her voice.

I absolutely love your answers! AND, I am so happy about #12! I haven't seen it yet, but just bought it yesterday! I haven't wrapped my husband's birthday presents yet (just before Christmas). I think I won't this year and just hand them to him and say, "Here."
