Surprised China and Germany are so low. They seem so happy. The Austrian olypians showed their joy during the march into the Bird's Nest.

I noticed that Russia was very low on the happiness scale. If you don't have to worry about basic need, life would be more tranquil. I find that insurance premiums take a lot of our budget.

I notice BELGIUM is not high enough to see on the happy list. Bumpedoff must know why. (Boy, even Luxembourg is way up there, even though they're so small!)

Those first few countries are like nice cool places aren't they..(don't laugh at me I'm having a nice fantasy here)...it's so hot here you could fry an egg on the sidewalk...

Denmark? Really... Well, according to Laurie, it must be true. Fifty per cent of their salary? Well, maybe money can buy you happiness unless you have some crooks at the top... which I think may happen here. Maybe I'm being cynical, but...

this,do not like it here and then move to Denmark.

Denmark has awesome benefits for it's citizens.They do pay something like 50% of there paycheck on taxes.They get alot in return for it though.My son works for a Denmark owned company.He has gone there and loved it except for the cold weather.I'm surprised the USA is as high as 23.Laurie
