The Gaza Bombshell

Excerpt:

After failing to anticipate Hamas’s victory over Fatah in the 2006 Palestinian election, the White House cooked up yet another scandalously covert and self-defeating Middle East debacle: part Iran-contra, part Bay of Pigs. With confidential documents, corroborated by outraged former and current U.S. officials, David Rose reveals how President Bush, Condoleezza Rice, and Deputy National-Security Adviser Elliott Abrams backed an armed force under Fatah strongman Muhammad Dahlan, touching off a bloody civil war in Gaza and leaving Hamas stronger than ever.

This is an outrageous revelation! It is no surprise, though. Our prez has done so much harm to our country. (It is hard to negotiate the links. I wonder why mybloggers does not allow ordinary URL links? I don't know exactly what they're called, but they're the https:// links that are underlined and you don't have to copy and paste into the address bar.)

Great minds think alike. You beat me to this one, I just heard about it this afternoon in an interview with RFK Jr. and David Rose.

I am horrified, but not surprised. I put nothing past Bush. January seems so far away, and there is still so much damage he can do.

I have never been able to understand the approach that America in general approaches the issues of the Middle East Conflict. We made it worse through our proxy support during the Cold War and continue to do a horrible job with it. It is just another mess up by the Bush Administration.

I agree with Ariana. What President in recent history has managed to do so much damage to America's image worldwide while wrecking our economy at the same time? If this man doesn't go down in history as the worst President the United States has ever had, there is no justice!

He has accomplished a lot in 8 years...war, invasions of privacy, many negatives as well as the fact that people now hate us. I hate the things John McCain stands for....namely war.

This administration is really digging itself into a deep ditch. They're getting lower and lower.
