When I tried to put on jeans that I hadn't worn in a month that suddenly I have put on the weight I lost. Ok so it wasn't so suddenly, I have been eating my way through my area over the last couple of weeks. The birthday is a difficult time because people want you to indulge and treat you.
So it's operation don't put everything in your mouth for the next two weeks. I am going to see the family then at a wedding. I am hoping that my dress fits but I am not even going to try it on till this weekend after a few days of eating better.
It's the culmination of several factors. The best friend A (boy) has taken up running and looks fantasico for him. My old roommate R also looks fantastic and is running, but in a different way. She is always super thin naturally and now she's got some muscle on her but it's still feminine and she is loving running. Then I saw the NYC Marathon winner in her little outfit, her muscles bulging out as she tore up the pavement in her marathon. Do I want to run a marathon? Not right now. I will start with running a few miles a day.
I was explaining to my co worker that the new pad will have a gym that is indoors and you don't have to leave the building to get there. Being that I am going to try to get up at the same time I would when I lived further away, this will give me at least a half hour per day to start running or doing something in the gym. I used to run 4 miles about 5 times a week. I weighed the exact same, maybe a few pounds lighter but I was like 3 sizes smaller. So I am going to start running when I move, and this post is the first step in that. Until then I am going to eat mostly veggies and protein for dinner.
Hope this finds you all well.
