I have been on two dates since the abrupt departure of the cookie monster. Both of which were less than delightful.

Up first would be called Bitter Party of 1. This dude was living out in the sticks and started bitching about this. He made me look like a hopeful romantic--true story. So he is talking and he says that the major problem he encounters is attitudes. I listen some more and he reveals he lives in the sticks. My response is that if everything else lines up you would think things would just work out. It was an awkward hour. I think I may have already blogged about this... Sorry I digress.

Anywho. I went out with this dude we'll call dancing king. He proceeds to tell me this story about how last night he was dancing and his shoulders were touching the floor. I am like ok, I don't dance (with dudes that touch the floor with their shoulders.) So he proceeds to keep talking and tells me that I am pretty and we have some drinks and dinner. Throughout dinner he tells me that "we both seem to really like each other." I just nod in DISBELIEF. He keeps trying to touch me and I tell him that I have commitment issues and I am NOT a fan of PDA. I finally managed to slither out of there without a follow up date. He did ask me for a second date. I declined and said that this week was super busy due to upcoming birthday. He proceeds to tell me I have to CANCEL my plans with my friends and family. That pretty much sealed the deal. He sent me a text last night and I ignored it.

Is it nice to feel attractive? yes. I am sick and tired of those that I don't like liking me. I am also sick and tired of liking the wrong person. I was supposed to go out with another dude on Sunday but I just couldn't do it. I was like um... NO. So I cancelled and I don't plan on rescheduling.

Speaking of cancelling I am going out with a dude tomorrow night who we'll call torch bearer. Three years ago we started talking and he was "genuinely" interested in me. I did my usual agree to go out on a date and then cancel. So he remembers this, and keeps my im name. Apparently I don't block him and he starts iming me. After three years of iming we're going to finally meet up. Will there be spark DOUBTFUL. But it will be interesting to at least meet this dude after three years of im conversations. I equate it to meeting someone from here only I would be more excited about this.

I need a vacation from stupid boys and men.
