Jester went to the vet last week, I thought he was having a tooth pulled but it turned out he didn't need that. He didn't have a cavity, I was told dogs do not get cavities, they get plaque, that build up, works it way up under the gum and makes the tooth loose and it falls out. In Jesters case, the tooth had big plaque buildup, and the gum became infected. He spent a few days on antibiotics to clear up the inflamation, and then went in for the procedure.

They knocked him out, cleaned his teeth did a X-Ray on his back, trimmed his nails, did the heartworm test, and got him caught up on his shots. Boy was he groggy when I got him home. He slept the rest of the day.

Jester had a bandage on his front leg that they said could come off when he got home. I took it off the next day. It was from his IV Picture below. To add insult to injury, Pat now calls him FiFi! Says he looks like a poodle!





He is feeling like his old self, chasing Audrey around, and trying to get me to go out for a ride every hour. Today he was lounging in the couch with Pat when Audrey came to visit him. She decided that Jester's ear was dirty and she proceeded to wash it for him. Much to my surprise he put up with this pampering from his little sister.
