Sunday Morning Pondering

Good Sunday Morning!
It is early, I have been up for over a hour waiting for Pat to wake up, so we can make our normal Sunday Morning Breakfast run. We normally go to Breakfast every Sunday morning, and try to make it different than the past Sunday. This Sunday it is the local Bob Evans. That is a old "Yankee" chain started in Ohio many years ago.
I find it refreshing to NOT have to tell them to hold the Grits! Now nothing against the southern traditions, (this means you sis Carolyn), but I just don't like them.
While waiting for Pat, I checked my lotto numbers, more money wasted, but not a lot. I play $3 on the Florida Lotto, and $3 on the new Power Ball lotto that just started here in Florida this month.
Then I check my Emails, I have three different accounts, my G-Mail account that is for my RC Club affairs, my Yahoo email that is for entering contests and that way all of my spam goes to that one, then there is the super secret Comcast account that only a few MyBloggers residents know about.
Sitting here looking at the little wall calender that Met life insurance sent me as they do every year because CSX sold my address to them, (I think they own met life too) It has begun to sink in that I only have three and a half months to work till retirement. That is not long at all considering I have been with that company for over 40 years.
Pat and I are beginning to look seriously at moving further south in Florida, I prefer to move back to Indiana, but Pat wants no part of the snow and cold weather.
I have noticed a change in my work ethic at work now that I am in the home stretch, It hasn't been intentional, but the change is there, even my boss who I have worked with for about 30 years has noticed. I don't stress as much, don't get worked up as much when the first shift losers don't do their job and I have to, I just sit there, drink my coffee, plug away and go for my walks in the parking lot from three to six times a night.
Thinking about retirement, there was a blogger on Blogster that used the screen name "Retired Thoughts". He has dropped off the face of the earth I guess, no one has heard from him in some time. I decided that if I kick off, at least Sis Carolyn has my address, and Pat knows where hers is, she can let her know. That way no one would wonder.
Well Pat is stirring, so I have to bring her her morning coffee and paper, so have a good sunday, and I will keep counting down the days.
By the way it is 80 more working days.
