I just realized that it has been since March 19th that I wrote a post.

OK, so it really is not much of a surprise. Lots of things going on in my world, things that should make me happy, things that should depress me, (and they do) and things that I just can't figure out.

1. I retire June 1st 2009, that will be my last day. (Happy)

2. April 30th is coming up, (Depressing)

3. My Family. (Can't figure that one out)


OK, here is my take on those three points above.

1. Yeah, June 1st is my last day of work. I hired out on my job in October 1968. If you do the math, (Please, I am bad at math!) it will mean that I have worked at the same job for 40 years and 7 months. Thats a damn long time to work for one company. I have seen lots of changes, not a lot for the better for the working class, but changes none the less.

2. April 30th. That's another anniversary but one that is depressing for me. April 30th, 1975 to be exact. Need a hint? here you go,,,,,







Thats right the Fall of Saigon.

3. My family. Yeah, can't figure that one out, and I think I should stop trying. Sis knows the story, just a little update,,, I reached out, and was promptly rejected. Guess thats life.
