I got a new years eve present. Yesterday afternoon, I got a call from the MRI Imaging center, saying my insurance company has decided I can have a MRI. How nice of them. When I asked? Tomorrow at 8am. We just got a opening and that way your co-pay will be paid for it this year, 2009.

Well the imaging place is in the old town where I use to live, so that meant I had a 50 mile drive to get there this morning. So I was up at 5:30 am, (normal time really) and was on the road at 6:30 am. I didn't know what the traffic would be on I-95 northbound, but I didn't need any surprises. There was lots of traffic heading north, plates from North and South Carolina, New York, Canada, Virginia, etc.

Jester was depressed as normal when I left, Pat said he got back in bed with her. Then Audrey decided to join the pajama party, and was purring in her ear.

I got there, filled out my papers, spent a hour getting both knees MRI'ed (is that a word?) then went and got a haircut. I gave my daughter a call, and she and I went out to lunch. Got home about 1pm, and am now ready for a nap!

The MRI's will be looked over and then we will see what action the doc's want to take.

No, that's not my knee!!
