One job that I had (almost 19 years) it started out that I really enjoyed going to work, but at the end I was just so battered (physically & mentally)I had to go and find something else. But the toll that my previous job had taken on me eventally caught up with me and now I looking for something else to do.

I am 55 and yet I have not decided what to do with my life. I am not sure whether it's a lack of conviction or courage. I have been told I have the tools to become a writer...but within I guess I am still that child who lacked the self-esteem to try something and not be afraid to fail. There is an item they sell here, it's like a tennis racket that is electrified. Sort of a cross between a fly swatter and a bug zapper, a friend of mine showed me one and how it worked..it did the trick. Another form of redneck entertainment
I really enjoy Stephen King, he is a brilliant writer who is devoted to detail. I think this hurts him when it comes to translating his books to film, though there have been exceptions (Green Mile & Shawshank Redemption). The last 2 SK novels I read were "11/23/63" & "Under the Dome"..which will be a mini-series in June.

I guess being a good husband means being a mind reader. After 18 years I have learned some of her mindset..but not enough to keep me screwing up from time to time. That doesn't make me a bad person...just slightly imperfect.
