Today is Bevan's birthday and Bailey's was the 3rd, so Holly had a combined family party for them yesterday. Â Of course, Jill was there.Â
I was holding my tongue after what Bailey had told me she had been saying about me; Â however, as always she had to make one of her classic negative remarks.
I don't think I have ever heard this woman say one good word about anyone other than her three children, who, according to her, shit little gold terds all their lives. Â
Someone made a comment about the video that has been circulating on television and the internet of Miley Cyrus inhaling a hallucinogenic drug. Jill immediately stated that she was not one bit surprised, since both her parents were so ignorant.
"Why do you say that," I asked.
"Well, they just are. Â Every time I have ever heard either of them speak, they just sounded ignorant," she retorted.
"I don't think they are ignorant," I said. Â "Miley's dad said that he was very sad about it, but that he didn't have a lot of control over Miley right now."
"Well, I don't mean they are ignorant as in stupid; I just mean they don't come across as refined and well-educated people."
I thought I was going to lose it right then and there. Â This is a woman who dropped out of college after one year because she couldn't pass a class, who had just asked me how to spell two simple words because she was sending her father an e-mail--I can't recall what one of them was but the second was "buffalo"--and who has never held a job that paid more than minimum wage.
Oh, did I forget to mention that her youngest son has been a druggie all his adult life?
"Well, Billy Ray Cyrus was just ignorant enough to become a multi-millionaire; and that's certainly far beyond anything you have ever done, Jill," I responded back.
With that Bailey, who was standing between us during this little exchange, turned to me and gave me a high five.
Jill shut up after the high five.
I tell people who get sideways with me that it is not wise to argue with me because I have chewed up and spit out people a lot tougher than they are.I try to keep my mouth shut, but this woman really grates on my nerves with her "know-it-all" attitude regarding issues and people about whom she really knows absolutely nothing.
I will say this. She doesn't mess with Holly. Holly can cut a person to pieces with a look. I have heard her say more than once that Holly intimidates her. To be truthful, Holly would probably intimidate me too if I were not her mother. But, Holly knows I can give as good as I get, so we get along most of the time..Every now and then, I still have to remind her that I am the MOTHER and she still is the CHILD even if she is a Senior Vice-President of her company at Age 36.
Besides, I know all her secrets! LOL!
