I don't think anything affected our generation as much as his assassination. The previous generation had the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and this generation had the twin towers bombing. Even that did not have the emotional impact that Kennedy's death had for me.
I agree with you....I think it was the beginning of the end.
It was so very sad. I was home sick when I heard it on tv.
I can't help but think what a certain group of people would say if it happened today
I was in eighth grade algebra class when the news was announced. Horrible! I remember it like it was yesterday. My heart still aches....
