For the family, who have had several large snows already, it is an, "I can't believe it's snowing again. I am so sick of snow." We also had snow last week, but it was only enough to cover the ground. This one will be 4-6 inches bfore it ceases, as it is supposed to continue all of today.
The salt and grading trucks were already out by 9 p.m., working through the night. They had the roads in good shape for school buses and people leaving for work.
Big Sissy took her snow pants to school because unless the temperature is under 10 degrees, the kiddos go outside, even when snowing. These are students who are accustomed to this type of weather; hence, they all have the right clothes, coats, and hats to dress for it.
Little Buddy has been enjoying a respite from pre-school while I am here. She attends when she wants and stays home with me when she chooses. Obviously, her choice has been heavily slanted toward "staying home."
Today, I am doing laundry for the girls and myself. I feel guilty not doing anything to help while I'm visiting, so I try to keep the kitchen clean, fix lunch, and sometimes supper as well.
The other day I did some cleaning, mopping the downstairs areas that are tiled as well as dusting the living room.
Holly and Bevan moved into a bigger house just before I arrived. This is much more comparable to the size of their home in Texas. So, it is no small task to clean. Tomorrow, I plan to tackle the upstairs.
Little Buddy wants the computer to play her "Jumpstart Kindergarten" program, so my time is up!
Will try to comment on your posts later today IF I GET A CHANCE to get back on a computer.
